Hospital Train ‘Lifeline Express’ reaches Badarpur, to offer free medical services to all for around a month
Dec. 26: Barak Valley got the proud privilege of getting the services of world’s first Hospital Train, “Lifeline Express”. Since 1991, the train has camped in different parts of India to conduct medical projects, that offered free consultation, treatment and surgeries in various specialties.
This week, Lifeline Express reached Badarpur railway Station where the train will camp for the next one month and provide health care facilities to the required people in Barak Valley. This is the 210th project of the Life Line express.
The “Lifeline Express” train is equipped with two state of art operation theaters with 5 operating tables, Dental department with three dental chairs, Xray, Mammography Colposcope and pathology lab. The train will provide free of cost medical treatment at Badarpur station from 5 to 24 January, 2021.
