Holy Cross shines bright with 8th rank, 97 1st divisions, 363 letters
June 6: The results of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) was declared on 6 June. A total of 39 students secured place in the merit list this year. The prestigious Holy Cross Higher Secondary School of Silchar kept up to its tradition and performed well. Anisha Roy of Holy Cross Silchar bagged 8th position by securing a total of 586 marks.
This year, a total of 113 appeared from Holy Cross and all of them passed HSLC. 97 of its students got 1st position, whereas 16 got 2nd division. 12 students got state highest in general mathematics & advance mathematics also, whereas 01 got state highest in general science. 41 passed in distinction and 25 of them got star marks.
A total of 363 letter marks were secured by the students of Holy Cross this year, out of which, 72 letters in English, 17 in Bengali, 16 in Hindi, 63 in General Science, 66 in General Mathematics, 54 in Social Studies, 54 in Advance Mathematics, 17 in Computer Science and 04 Fine Arts.
At the school level, the 1st four toppers are:
- Anisha Roy: total marks 586
- Bahnishikha Choudhury: total marks 581
- Samiksha Jain: total marks 576
- Anwesha Sirkar: total marks 575
