Holy Cross: Our Love for thee, shall never fail
Sohini Bhattacharjee
Class-X, Holy Cross H.S. School
Holy Cross School, Silchar has lit the light of education for the past 53 years and has relentlessly strived to achieve excellence in all spheres.
Holy Cross celebrated its Parents’ Day 2018 on 18th August. The celebration had begun around 4:00 pm with its chief guest Rev. Stephen Rotluanga CSC. (Bishop of Aizwal diocese) and guest of honour Rev .Fr. Joachim Walder (Dean of Barak Valley Region ,Dean of aizwal) also Dr.Polok Das MD (Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, SMC).
A cultural program was showcased by the students bringing out their talents and leadership capabilities. Starting with a welcome song, and then moving forward with the culture and traditions of India, the programme came to an end with a tribute to Rabindranath Tagore. It has inflamed the hearts and minds of many. True to its motto of “Let your Let Shine”, the parents witnessed the role of the school in harnessing the talents of their wards.
This is a great work done which was much needed for Barak Valley. Thanks to whole team!!. I would like to request Editor and web team to maximise positive news happening at Barak Valley and in whole India. Also request to add section like Spirituality / yoga which is indian root .
