Health Deptt updates Covid data; Now total 43 detected positive on Tuesday

April 20: The district health department of Cachar updated the Covid-19 data of the day at 11 PM on Tuesday. As per the latest data provided by the department, it was revealed that 43 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive on 20 April. During the day, a total of 1,755 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, a total of 31 persons were found positive, whereas 12 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Tuesday night. Earlier, it was informed that 33 (31 RAT & 02 RT-PCR) new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Cachar

However, on Monday (19 April) night, the total positive cases increased and went upto 60 (32 RTPCR & 28 RAT).
