Health Dept starts Help Desk for vaccination, Paschim Ambicapur Club given charge of Durga Sankar Patshala

May 28: Covid vaccination programme is going on in various centres in Cachar. The district health department has entrusted the responsibility of assisting the the officials and staff in these centres to local NGOs and clubs. As such, Paschim Ambikapur Club, a socio- cultural organisation of Silchar was given the responsibility to assist the health staff in crowd management at Durga Sankar Patshala, Ambicapatty, Silchar.

Moreover, Dr PK Roy, Additional Chief Medical & Health Officer (FW), Cachar in a letter has directed to create at least one Help Desk for the needy people in the rural and urban area of Silchar where the people who are not acquainted  with the sophisticated software of CoWIN can be provided assistance. It is in this connection that the Additional Chief Medical Medical & Health Officer (FW), Cachar in an order on 28 May, 2021 has asked Paschim Ambikapur Club to take necessary arrangement for maintaining Help Desk for those people who are unable to get vaccinated as they do not possess any govt approved document for getting the jab.
