Heads of secondary schools in Cachar to undergo digital training on tobacco free institutions

August 31: In order to spread awareness on the evil effects of tobacco consumption and to prohibit students from becoming a prey to this ill habit, the District Tobacco Control Cell in collaboration with Assam cancer Care Foundation has organised a digital training programme, wherein training will be imparted to all the heads of secondary schools and tobacco control nodal teachers in Cachar District.

It is in this connection that Inspector of School,CDC, Silchar has notified all heads of Government, provincialised higher secondary schools, high schools, senior madrasas, Sanskrit tolls under Cachar District to attend the virtual training programme along with tobacco control nodal teachers as per the schedule.

It was further stated that the training will be held from 11 AM to 12.30 PM at Silchar and Katigorah block on 1st September, 2020; at Lakhipur and Narsingpur block on 8 September; at Rajabazar and Udharbandh block on 15 September and at Sonai and Salchapra block on 22 September.
