Hailakandi district police arrests drugs peddler with narcotic drugs

June 22: Hailakandi district police arrested a drug peddler and seized narcotic drugs on Saturday evening.
Superintendent of Police, Pabindra Kumar Nath revealed that based on an input regarding suspected illicit drugs, a raid was conducted in the house of Ali Ahmed Laskar alias Bablu Mulla at Narainpur Part III under Hailakandi Sadar Police Station at around 8.15 pm on Saturday evening.

During the search operation conducted by Additional Superintendent of Police, Kulendra Nath Deka,121.05 grams of suspected narcotic drugs were seized from the house of the drug peddler. Mulla has been arrested and a case no. 509/2020 under Section 21(B) of the NDPS Act,1985 has been registered against him.
