The deputy commissioners, sub-divisional officers (civil) and the respective police stations of the districts will take care of the security of the examination centres.
Further, in a report by NorthEast Now, it was stated that the result of this examination will be valid for seven years from the date of announcement. Infact, in the month of June 2019, a huge controversy erupted when Assam Education Minister Siddhartha Bhattacharjee said, “Like driving licences, which need to be renewed after a certain period, TET qualified teachers also need to get new certificates after seven years.” As a mark of protest, TET qualified teachers then prefixed the word ‘driver’ ahead of their names in social media as a mark of protest.
