From now, results of all COVID tests to be available in a website: Himanta

July 2: There were much grievance among the people as regards delay in communicating the results of swab tests. Though a machine generated message was supposed to reach those whose swab samples were collected, but many alleged that they have not received any message of their test report. In order to eliminate such confusion, Assam government has launched a dedicated website, wherein results of all COVID-19 tests will be made available.

Sharing the information during a press briefing on Wednesday, State Health Minister, however, said that this could not be accessed by all. People need to enter their Specimen Referral Form (SRD) ID to view the results. The minister tweeted, “So far we have uploaded 3.5 lacs results and more will be uploaded.” 

The website www.covidassam.in can be accessed by all wherein people will have to mention their SRD ID for getting the test results. Till date 368690 result has been uploaded.Remaining results are being uploaded. If the test results are not ready to publish in the website, then a message will appear wherein it will be stated, “Your result shall be reflected once it is available.”
