Fresh flood near Sonapur tunnel, efforts on to clear the same

June 20: Torrential rainfall in the last 24 hours has resulted in fresh flood on NH-06 in Meghalaya.  There has been a fresh bout of flash flood near Sonapur Tunnel early this morning. Efforts are on to clear the same as quickly as possible. Commuters were once again advised to delay travelling through this route till the same is cleared. This was informed by East Jaintia Hills Police on Monday morning.
