Former Controller of Exam, Suprabir Dutta Roy appointed Principal of Lala Rural College

Sept. 9: Dr. Suprabir Dutta Roy, former Controller of Examination (COE), Assam University, Silchar was appointed as the Principal of Lala Rural College at Lala in Hailakandi district. He was appointed to the post of Principal by Director of Higher Education, Assam in an order issued on 3 September, 2020. This was also intimated to Dr. Dutta Roy by Prof. Projit Kumar Palit, President, Governing Body of Lala Rural College in a letter addressed to the former on 7 September.

It needs mention here that Dr. Suprabir Dutta Roy’s term as the Controller of Examination of Assam University came to an end a couple of months ago. Since then, he has been given the appointment of the Adviser to the Vice Chancellor of the varsity on exam matters and is working in that position as of now. Prior to his joining Assam University, Dr. Dutta Roy was the Principal of Janata College, Kabuganj.
