Former Chief Minister of Assam Prafulla Mahanta hospitalised

Jan. 16: Former Assam Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta was hospitalised on Friday morning following chest pain. He was admitted in a private hospital in guwahati. The condition of 68-year-old Mahanta who is the AGP MLA from the Barhampur Assembly constituency in Nagaon district is now stable. As per reports, the former Chief Minister was suffering from gastroenterological problems.
