For projects exceeding more than 2 financial years, contracts to be cancelled: CM Assam

Commissioners must have adequate good arrangements to provide all kinds of relief materials to flood victims immediately.

The definition of shelter camps must be expanded so that all affected people including the residents of the shelter camps can be included in the beneficiary list.

All work related to flood damage assessment and compensation must be done through single window system with the Circle Officer as Nodal Officer.

All important projects under SDRF which exceed more than two financial years should be stopped and allotted contracts should be cancelled. Permanent instructions must be issued for completing the work of such projects by 31 March of every year from now on.
