Fatak Bazar & New Market to reopen from 31 May

May 30: As per am order issued by Cachar district administration on 22 May, all shops and businesses establishments in Fatak Bazar and New Market area of Silchar was closed. However, this order was revoked by an order issued on 30 May by Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson of District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Cachar.

As per the order, all shops in Fatak Bazar and New Market area of Silchar were permitted to reopen and resume operations from 31 May, subject to strict adherence to COVID-19 norms of social distancing, wearing face masks etc.
