extensive Health Checkup of the teaching fraternity at Assam University

way2barak, May 11: Assam University Teachers’ Association (AUTA) in collaboration with the Heart Care Society of Assam (HCSA)- Barak Valley Chapter and Green Heals Hospital, Silchar organised an extensive Health Checkup of the teaching fraternity today the 11th of May 2023, at the Assam University Health Centre.
About sixty teachers had undergone a thorough health checkup as part of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the AUTA.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant attended the Health Camp and underwent a check up along with the members of AUTA.
Dr Ahamed Hussain Choudhury led the team for the free checkup.


The team of the visiting doctors and technicians were assisted by the team of doctors and technicians of the AUS Health Centre.
Dr Ahamed Hussain Choudhury, a renowned Cardiologist & Vice Chairman of HCSA, Barak Valley led the team along with Dr. Manab Nath, Asst. Secretary of HCSA, Barak Valley, the ECGs were done by Pinak Kanti Chakraborty, Zonal Secretary State & PRO BVC, HCSA.
Members of HCSA Barak Valley Manju Das, Arup Sunder Dutta, Mamuni Nunia, Green Heals Hospital were part of the team.
Free CBG, Spirometry and BP check up and distribution of medicines were part of the programme.

The office bearers of AUTA were present all along to greet the members and to ensure that the health camp was successful.
