EVM/VVPAT Help Desk to remain functional at Warehouse Silchar from 25 to 29 March

March 24: The Training & Awareness Cell of Cachar will be operating EVM/VVPAT Help Desk in connection with Assembly Election, 2021 for 5 days from 25 March to 29 March. The Help Desk will function from 10 AM to 5 PM. This Help Desk will be set up at the EVM/VVPAT Warehouse located at Park road, opposite Amrit Sweets, Silchar. This was stated by the Additional Deputy Commissioner and in-charge of Training & Awareness Cell, Cachar.

The Help Desk will remain functional for the polling officials who have been drafted for the duties of Presiding Officer, 1st Polling officer, 2nd polling officer and 3rd polling officer. Further, other officials associated with Assembly Elections, 2021 can also clarify their doubts from the Help Desk.

A total of 5 Master Trainers have been drafted for the purpose of imparting training in the Help Desk. They are Dr. Soumitra Nath- Lecturer Silchar Polytechnic, Dr. Natasha Nath- Block Veterinary Officer Rajabazar, Samarpan Nath- Asstt Professor, G.C. College, Silchar and Dr. Jerry Ramnieng Joute, Block Veterinary Officer, Lakhipur.
