ECI to hold press meet today, likely to announce poll schedule of Assam

Feb. 26: The Election Commission of India (ECI) will hold an important press conference at 4:30 pm on Friday. The poll panel is likely to announce dates for elections to the legislative assemblies of West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and Puducherry today during the press meet. Elections are due in the four states of West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Kerala and the union territory of Puducherry in the months of April and May.
