Earthquake measuring 5.7 & 3.5 with epicenter in Arunachal Pradesh rocks NE including Barak Valley
way2barak, Nov.10: An earthquake measuring 5.7 (status reviewed) on the Richter scale, jolted Northeast India including several parts of Assam including Barak Valley and its adjoining areas at 10.31 AM on 10 Nov. As per National Center for Seismology (NCS), “Earthquake of Magnitude:5.7, Occurred on 10-11-2022, 10:31:07 IST, Lat: 28.39 & Long: 94.42, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: West Siang, Arunachal Pradesh, India.” The earthquake lasted for just a few seconds.
Again, after 28 minutes, at 10.59 AM another earthquake measuring 3.5 occurred on 10-11-2022, 10:59:43 IST, Lat: 28.70 & Long: 94.05, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: West Siang, Arunachal Pradesh, India. However, there were no report of any casualties till the filing of this report.
