Earthquake measuring 5.2 jolts Mizoram again

Dec. 8: An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale, jolted parts of Mizoram at 10.44 AM on Tuesday. In a tweet by National Center for Seismology (NCS), it was stated, “Earthquake of Magnitude:5.2, Occurred on 08-12-2020, 10:44:34 IST, Lat: 22.11 & Long: 94.20, Depth: 87 Km ,Location: 174km SSE of Champhai, Mizoram, India.” However, there were no reports of any casualties till the filing of this report.
