Earthquake measuring 3.9 jolts Meghalaya & parts of Assam on Thursday night
Dec. 10: An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale, jolted parts of Meghalaya at 10.26 PM on Thursday. In a tweet by National Center for Seismology (NCS), it was stated, “Earthquake of Magnitude:3.9, Occurred on 10-12-2020, 22:26:47 IST, Lat: 25.87 & Long: 90.52, Depth: 10 Km ,Location: 50km NE of Tura, Meghalaya, India.” Tremors were also felt in some parts of Assam. However, there were no report of any casualties.
