Due to timely intervention by CID Assam, woman got back full amount looted by cyber frauds

way2barak, Sept.16: Siphoning off money from one’s bank account has become a widespread phenomenon. However, if such incidents are reported instantly and the cops too acts fast, than the lost money can be recovered.

Such an incident happened in Guwahati recently. Anita Boro of Guwahati, lost Rs. 95,355 to cyber criminals on 12 September, 2022. She, however, acted fast and reported the same immediately at 1930. Timely actions from CID, Assam has saved the whole amount of Rs. 95,355 and to be credited back soon to her account.

“If you become a victim of financial cyber fraud, report immediately at 24X7 helpline number- 1930,” stated CID Assam.
