DTO postpones driving test in view of spurt in COVID cases in Hailakandi
May 6: The transport authorities here have postponed the driving test for learners and for permanent driving licence in view of surge in COVID-19 cases in the district. In an order issued to this effect here on Thursday, District Transport Officer, Syed Rafiqul Mannan said that due to the deteriorating COVID-19 situation day by day in the district, it has been decided to postpone driving test for learners as well as permanent driving licence.
“The step to put on hold driving test for learners and for permanent driving licence has been taken to avoid gathering and to contain further spread of the disease,” he added.
