District voter icon Padmashri Dr. Ravi Kannan urges people to cast votes on 1 April

March 22: Padma Shri Dr. Ravi Kannan has been nominated as an icon of Cachar district in connection with Assembly Election, 2021. District Magistrate KeerthiJalli has nominated Dr. Kannan, a veteran Oncologist of Cachar Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (CCHRC), for his contribution to the social and health sector. The eminent cancer specialist will take part in various awareness meetings under the aegis of Systematic Voters Education on Electoral Participation (SVEEP).

DC Jalli stated that Dr. Kannan has been involved in various social activities for a long time. Besides, he has achieved a milestone in the health sector of the district. In the same way, his presence at various awareness meetings will inspire voters to vote and new voters will also be encouraged.
