Deptt of political Science, G.C. College Silchar to organise national webinar on 9 Sept

August 30: A National Webinar on ‘Prospects of Higher Education in the Context of COVID-19 Pandemic: Challenges & Way Out’ has been organised by the Department of Political Science, Gurucharan College (GC College), Silchar in collaboration with their Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The webinar will be held on 9 September, 2020.

The invited speakers of the National Webinar are Dr. Pradip Kumar Parida, Associate Professor in Public Policy, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Jais, Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. He will be deliberating on the topic at 10 AM on 9 September. Further, Prof. Subhrabrata Choudhury from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, NIT Durgapur will speak at 12.30 PM.

The Organising Committee of the webinar comprises of its Patron, Dr. Bibhas Deb, Principal of G.C. College, Silchar, Chairperson Dr Rajasree Paul, Coordinator IQAC of the college and Convenor Dr. Swarupa Bhattacharjee, HOD Political Science. Further, Sumita Bhattacharjee, Dr. V. Pulamte and DeepanwitaDey Purkayastha are the members of the committee.

Expressing her views, Dr. Swarupa Bhattacharjee, Convenor of the webinar said, “Ph.D scholars, faculty members, policy makers and anyone interested in the topic can participate in this webinar.
