DDIPR hands over renewed press identity cards to 38 newsmen

February 25: To foster goodwill between administration and the media, Indrani Goswami, Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations (DDIPR), Barak Valley Zone handed over merchandise to recognised correspondents working in different print and electronic media houses of Cachar District. The renewed press identity cards were also handed over to 38 correspondents in a brief function held at the office of the DDIPR, Silchar.

Exchanging greeting with the newsmen, Indira Goswami wished that such an initiative shall motivate the media fraternity to keep working with renewed vigour. She has thanked Anupam Choudhury, ACS, Director of Information and Public Relations, Assam,for his cooperation in this regard.
