DC Hailakandi inspects PMKK under ‘Skill India Campaign’

March 7: Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner, Hailakandi visited Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) at Lakhisahar under Skill India Campaign. She inspected the premises and interacted with students on various skills learnt like Home Health Aide, Fitter Fabrication, Electrification and works etc.

She insisted on the need for honing their personality development skills along with job skills for future empowerment. Students had made several hand-made models of what they have learnt like Water Power Plant, Motorcycle, human internal organ display, Godown electrification etc.

DC Keerthi Jalli spoke to the girls who said that they were developing self confidence through upgrading of skills. She appealed to the youths to visit PMKK where they can update themselves by learning various skills free of cost and thereby get placement.
