Current spell of intense rainfall likely to continue over Northeast

June 18: Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is likely over Assam and Meghalaya during June 17-19 and over Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim. Rainfall is also likely over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh during next 5 days. IMD also predicted rainfall over Karnataka, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu. Rajasthan and Punjab may also witness rainfall.
