Covid vaccines to be administered at 9 centres in Silchar from 27 Dec to 1 Jan

Dec. 26:  Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Sunday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at 8 centres in Silchar from 27 December to 1 January where Covishield will be administered, whereas Covaxin will be provided at 01 centre. A total of 1,800 doses of Covishield and 100 doses of Covaxin will be administered on and from 27 December to 1 January in Silchar town.

The 8 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:

• SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (200 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 300 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 27 December to 1 January.
• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (200 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 300 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 27 December to 1 January.
• Durga ShankarPatshala: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on from 27 December to 1 January.
• Gol Dighi Mall: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 27 December to 1 January.
• BC Roy School, Rongpur: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on from 27 December to 1 January.
• Ghoniala Club: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 100 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 27 December to 1 January.
• Sreepally LP School,Link Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 100 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 27 December to 1 January.
• Surja Kumar HS School, Tarapur: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 100 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 27 December to 1 January.

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration from 27 December to 1 January.
