Covid vaccines to be administered at 4 centres in Silchar on 16 Dec

Dec. 15:  Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Wednesday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at 4 centres in Silchar on Thursday where Covishield will be administered, whereas Covaxin will be provided at 01 centre. A total of 800 doses of Covishield and 100 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 16 December in Silchar town.

The 3 vaccination centres where Covishield will be provided are:

• SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (200 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 300 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 16 December.
• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (200 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 300 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 16 December.
• Durga ShankarPatshala: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 16 December.

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration on 16 December.
