Covid vaccines to be administered at 2 centres in Silchar on 24 September

Sept. 23:  Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Thursday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at two centres in Silchar on Friday where Covishield and Covaxin will be provided respectively. A total of 400 doses of Covishield and 200 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 24 September in Silchar town.

The centre where Covishield will be provided is:

• SM Dev Civil Hospital, AAMSA House, Silchar: Both 1st dose (200 shots) and 2nd dose (200 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 400 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre on 24 September.

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

• Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Only 2nd dose (200 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration on 24 September.
