Covid vaccine to be given at 4 centres for 18+ & 5 centres for 15-18 age group in Silchar on 19-22 Jan

Jan. 18: District Health Department of Cachar has notified vaccination schedule for two groups of people, who will be administered the jab from 19 January to 22 January, 2022. These 2 groups are:.

A. Covid vaccination for 18+ population of Silchar Urban area at 4 centres: (Total 600 + 100= 700 doses)

• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 19 to 22 January.
• Sister Nivedita High School: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 19 to 22 January.
• Nazirpatty Model School: Both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered in this centre from 19 to 22 January.

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

• Sanjibini (104) office, Opposite Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Both 1st dose (50 shots) and 2nd dose (50 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration from 19 to 22 January.

B. Covid vaccination for those between 15 to 18 years of Silchar Urban area will be provided at 5 centres: (Total 1000 doses Covaxin)

• Cachar College, Silchar : Covaxin (200 shots) will be administered in this centre on 19 January.
• Red Cross, Park Road: Covaxin (200 shots) will be administered in this centre from 19 to 22 January.
• Durga Shankar Patshala: Covaxin (200 shots) will be administered in this centre from 19 to 22 January.
• Vivekananda Senior Secondary School: Covaxin (200 shots) will be administered in this centre on 20 January.
• Kendriya Vidyalaya, Chandmari: Covaxin (200 shots) will be administered in this centre on 21 January.
