Assam Police collects ₹ 35,98,700 as fine for not wearing mask
May 31: Assam Police has clamped the reigns of law on the lockdown violators. Taking to its twitter handle, Assam Police provided a list of actions taken for violation of lockdown guidelines. The list they provided was updated as on 31 May, 2020:
✔️Rs. 35,98,700 collected as fines for not wearing mask
✔️3208 incidents of violation
✔️2679 cases registered
✔️4609 people arrested
✔️30256 vehicles detained
✔️34 boats detained
✔️Rs. 3,17,10,850 collected as fine for violation of lockdown measures.
