Colourful rally taken out by Daffodils School in connection with Silver Jubilee celebration

January 25: The Silver Jubilee Celebration (2019-20) of Daffodils School, Silchar, kick started on 30 March, 2019 admist pomp and splendour. In this connection, a colourful rally was taken out by the school on 25 January, 2020. Dressed in various traditional attire, students of the school, alumni, teachers, staff, parents, guardians and well wishers participated in this grand rally on Saturday morning.

Subrata Dey, the Principal of Daffodils School hoisted the school flag in their campus before the beginning of the rally. The rally went through all the major points of Silchar town and returned back to the school campus. Immense enthusiasm was noticed among both the students and teachers. Around 1000 persons participated in this grand rally.

It needs mention here that the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Daffodils School, Silchar will come to an end on 31 January, 2020. In this connection, the school authority has informed that on 30 and 31 January, 2020, a colourful function will be held at Silchar Rajiv Bhavan. On 30 January, the programme will start at 11 AM and on 31 January, the function will begin at 5 PM.

Expressing his happiness, Subrata Dey, the Principal of Daffodils upholded the history of the school since its very foundation. He also said that a year-long activities were held as a part of the Silver Jubilee Celebration. The celebration will come to an end with a mega closing ceremony on 31 January.

It needs mention here that the Silver Jubilee Celebration (2019-20) of Daffodils School, Silchar, started on 30 March, 2019 with a Flower-show competition. The function was synchronised with a mini spring festival which added glamour and created an aesthetic ambiance.
