CM reviews project Sadbhavana

July 7: Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma reviewed the implementation of Project Sadbhavana in a meeting with senior secretaries of the state government at Janata Bhawan today. While taking stock of status of disposal of files by various departments, Chief Minister Dr. Sarma said that the Project is aimed at ensuring swift disposal of pending files at Janata Bhawan so that public issues can be settled in a free and fair manner. He directed the officials to carry out the project in a manner so that e-office system can be adopted in a definite time period.

The Chief Minister asked the officials to take steps to generate awareness about this project at the Lok Kalyan Divas. He said that three clean and upright grade III and IV employees from each district will be felicitated on that day and for this asked them to finalize the names in consultation with the Deputy Commissioners.

The Chief Minister also directed to take steps for installation of rooftop solar power system at Janata Bhawan and maintaining cleanliness at all departments to develop better working environment. He asked to entrust a senior officer for each block at Janata Bhawan for this purpose. Dr. Sarma also informed that the state government would soon launch a Pension Sewa Kendra portal to make the pension system more transparent and seamless. Additional Chief Secretary Paban Kumar Borthakur and other senior officials of the Janata Bhawan were present in the meeting.
