CM reviews Covid situation in districts & flood management through video conference
May 23: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma on Monday met in a meeting with Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, Principal of Medical College and Joint Director of Health Services through video conference.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the latest COVID-19 situation and flood management of the state. Chief Secretary, Police Director Chief Officers participated in video conference along with Health Minister Keshab Mahanta and Minister of Revenue Department Jogen Mohan.
The Chief minister while reviewing #Covid scenario was also briefed about initiatives on Public Health & Community measures to generate mass awareness of Dos & Don’ts & adherence on Covid Appropriate Behavior. Active community surveillance like last year shall also be started soon.
Floods during #Covid times can be far more challenging and therefore important that we’re doubly prepared.
