Childline 1098 service inaugurated at Hailakandi by DC Keerthi Jalli

April 24: After coming out with flying colours in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls, Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi, Keerthi Jalli is again in the news for another milestone achievement. On Wednesday, Keerthi Jalli formally inaugurated the Childline 1098 service in Hailakandi district.

Speaking during the occasion, Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi, Keerthi Jalli said, “The service is launched with an objective of friend in need of the children in distress of the district. This unique move will help children suffering from disease or is lost or abandoned or is being exploited or is forced to perform child labour.” The Childline will be run by Deshabandhu Club.
