CEC to visit Assam on Monday on a 3-day tour to review poll preparedness

Jan. 17: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of India Sunil Arora will be visiting Assam on Monday. the deputy secretary to the election department of Assam in a press statement said the Chief Election Commissioner of India, Sunil Arora, Election Commissioners of India Sushil Chandra and Rajiv Kumar will arrive in Assam on Monday to review poll preparedness for the upcoming elections to the Assam Legislative Assembly. During their visit, the CEC and his team will hold separate meetings with the State Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, DGP, Chief Electoral Officer and Police Nodal Officer of Assam and leaders of political parties.
