Candidates now can apply online for jobs of Asst Prof & Librarian in colleges, application fee fixed at ₹1500

Feb. 25: Govt. of Assam, Higher Education Department has approved the uniform amount of Rs. 1,500 as application fees for all the candidates for each college applying for the post of Assistant Professor/ Librarian. The colleges who have already collected application fees more than Rs. 1,500 from the candidate were asked to refund the excess amount to the concerned applicant. This was stated in an order by Director of Higher Education (DHE), Assam on Friday.

Further, DHE, Assam also stated that due to possible delay in postal delivery system, the Colleges are to keep an option of acceptance of online application also. It needs mention here that till now, there was no provision of applying online for posts of Assistant Professors and Librarians in the colleges of Assam.
