BSNL to credit 6 paise in your account for every voice calls above 5 minutes
November 1: At a time when Reliance Jio is charging six paise per minute for outgoing calls to other network, BSNL has decided to do just the opposite. According to an attractive offer contemplated by the state owned BSNL, the company will provide 6 paise for every five minutes of voice calls placed by the subscribers. The money will be credited to the subscriber in the form of cashback. This offer is applicable on BSNL’s wireline, broadband and FTTH customers.
As an counterattack to Reliance Jio, BSNL has taken this step to attract more subscribers to its fold. The company said that it is taking several steps to better the user experience and this is one of them. BSNL may come up with similar more announcements in the coming over months.
In a statement issued by Vivek Banzal, Director CFA, BSNL, it was stated that, “In an era of digital experiences, where customers are seeking quality services for voice and data. We want our customers to engage more with our upgraded Next Generation Network, experience the quality of voice call which happens on wireline, and also get incentivized for the same.”
