BSF seizes 26,000 Yaba tablets, nabs 1 drug peddler from Karimganj

Jan. 20: Acting on specific input, troops of 7 Bn DSF, M&C Frontier conducted a raid on Thursday in Kaliganj area of Karimganj district. 26,000 Yaba tablets were seized during the raid by BSF. They also apprehended a car along with a drugs peddler. The total value of the seizure was around Rs. 1 crore 33 lakh. The peddler nabbed was identified as one Marfuja Ahmed (18), S/O Khosrul Islam, a resident of Khundra Kandi village at Kaliganj in Karimganj district.
