Both Houses adjourned for the day without any transaction of business

way2barak, July 23: Parliamentarians from the Opposition INDIA bloc and the ruling NDA faced off at the Makar Dwar in the Parliament complex on Thursday, even before the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha convened. A large number of MPs belonging to both camps stood outside the entrance to the Parliament building and shouted slogans at each other.

The proceedings in both Houses have been stalled because of government-opposition deadlock as the former insists on readiness for debate and the latter remains bent on the Education Minister’s resignation before initiating debate.
