BJP holds puja at Ramnagar where PM Modi will address poll rally on 11 April.

April 8: Keeping with the election tempo in Assam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to address another mega rally in Assam this election season. Modi will campaign for the Silchar Lok Sabha seat, voting for which will be held on 18 April, 2019. He will address the poll rally at Ramnagar, the same venue where he started his campaign for south Assam earlier on 4 January, 2019.

Prior to the Prime Minister’s visit, NEDA convenor and BJP top gun Himanta Biswa Sarma held a meeting with state minister Parimal Suklabaidya, Lok Sabha candidate Rajdeep Roy and BJP workers to take stock of the preparations ahead of PM Modi’s visit.

On Monday, BJP performed a puja at the Ramnagar Field where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address a Rally on 11 April. Local BJP leaders including the Party President of Cachar district Kaushik Rai, Minister Parimal Suklabaidya, Vivek Poddar and others  were also present during the Puja at the site at Ramnagar
