Beneficiaries urged to complete e-KYC to avoid deletion of ration cards

way2barak, July 8: The District Administration of Cachar has appealed to all beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) who have not yet completed their e-KYC registration linked to their ration cards to do so without delay.
In a notification issued on monday, the Administration cautioned that failure to complete the e-KYC process may result in the deletion of ration cards from the Ration Card Management System (RCMS), thereby depriving households of entitled benefits under the NFSA.
The step has been initiated in the interest of the public and to ensure transparency and proper delivery of food security benefits to eligible families. Beneficiaries are therefore requested to promptly visit the designated centers or use the available online facilities to complete the mandatory e-KYC process.
The District Administration reiterates its commitment to safeguarding the rights of ration card holders while maintaining the integrity of the distribution system.
This public notice is issued for the awareness of all concerned, especially NFSA beneficiaries, and they are urged to act immediately to avoid inconvenience.
This is stated in a press release issued from Regional office of Information Public Relations Barak valley Zone Silchar Assam.
