Barak Valley records highest single-day spike of 81 new +ve cases on Friday

July 10: On Friday, Barak Valley recorded the highest single day rise of 81 COVID-19 positive cases. This has sounded alarm bells among the people. Out of the 81 fresh cases reported on Thursday, the maximum number of 43 positive cases were from across Cachar. Hailakandi recorded 37 new cases of novel coronavirus. The lowest number of 1 case was detected from Karimganj district. This was updated in his official social media post by Silchar MP Dr. Rajdeep Roy on Friday night.

Moreover, on Friday, 45 patients were recovered and discharged from the three districts of Barak Valley. It needs mention here that on Thursday, Barak valley recorded 66 COVID-positive cases.
