Awareness on COVID-19 done by Barak Valley Welfare Development Society

March 20: Amidst rising concern of the outbreak of coronavirus, proper awareness about it can save many a lives. With this aim in view, Barak Valley Welfare Development Society conducted an awareness on COVID-19 at UJJAWALA Shelter Home, Silchar on Friday. This shelter home houses the disadvantaged female.

Good quality masks, hand sanitisers and Dettol soaps were provided to the inmates of the shelter home. Apart from this, the Society also prepared and distributed leaflets in local languages which contained various preventive measures in order to combat the deadly virus.
