Grading for college students could be composite of 50% Internal Assessment & 50% previous semester marks: MHRD
May 5: In a tweet on the microblogging site twitter, the HRD ministry on Tuesday said that, “In case the situation does not appear to be normal in view of COVID-19, to maintain social distancing, safety, and health of the college students, grading could be a composite of 50% marks on the basis of the pattern of internal evaluation adopted by the universities and the remaining 50% marks on the basis of performance in the previous semester (if available).”

Though certain subjects in certain institutions were imparted through online mode, but all could not be accommodated in this process. Educationists have opined that the suggestion put forward by MHRD in this regard seems to be more plausible.
