Mother of Parimal Suklabaidya’s missing driver seeks justice; appeals to bring back her son

Sushmita assures of starting an investigation if Congress comes to power

March 27: The issue of the missing driver of the then MLA Parimal Suklabaidya surfaced once again on Saturday, when the driver’s old mother begged the people to help her to trace her son Kajal Dutta. Kajal was reported to be missing in the year 2016. With tears in her eyes, Shefali Dutta said, “I request all to help this old mother. Please for God’s sake do something. I want my son back.”

She was brought to an electoral rally wherein former Silchar MP & President of All India Mahila Congress Sushmita Dev was present along with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Dholai constituency of Cachar. Both these two leaders were campaigning for the Congress candidate Kamakhya Prasad Mala.

He said that the BJP government ought to have taken the responsibility and found out Kajol Dutta. “However, Parimal Suklabaidya remained silent all these years and the BJP government in Assam too maintained a strange silence. If BJP comes to power again, we have doubt whether she will remain alive or not.”

But if the BJP comes to power again, they will never let that happen. So for the sake of justice, people should vote for the Congress candidate and keep Parimal Suklabaidya out of power so that the truth can come out.” She assured to do thorough investigation into the matter if the Congress comes to power. “We will find out the truth and those responsible for the disappearance of Kajol Dutta will be brought to book,” added Sushmita Dev.
