One more COVID-19 death in Assam, tally reaches 77

July 25: Another COVID-19 positive patient died in Assam on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Ranjit Baidya (65) from Nagaon. He was admitted at Gauhati medical College & Hospital (GMCH). In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “I feel extremely sorry for this loss to the Baidya family.” With this, the death tally of the state has gone upto 77.
