Assam University Convocation: D.Litt & D.Sc titles conferred upon Swami Atmapriyananda & Dr Lakhan Das

May 6: The three-day long 19th Convocation of Assam University, Silchar began on 5 May, 2022 and will continue till 7 May. A total of 3,500 degrees will be conferred during the three days. Eminent water conservationist, Dr. Rajendra Singh, popular as the “Waterman of India” also graced the occasion as an invited guest during the ceremony.

Vice Chancellor of Assam University, Prof. Rajive Mohan Pant conferred the honorary causa D.Litt & D.Sc titles conferred upon Swami Atmapriyananda of the Ramakrishna order & eminent surgeon, Dr Lakhan Das respectively.
