Assam to witness heavy rainfall

Sept. 27: Heavy rainfall along with thundershowers across Assam was predicted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for the next few days. Heavy shower is likely over isolated places of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Meghalaya on Sunday and Monday. The weather forecast revealed a gloomy atmosphere in the 3 districts of Barak Valley where generally it will be a  cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thunder showers for the coming days.
